EXCITE SX

Excite SX RCA interconnects start with two 5th Generation Tricon Silver Matrix geometries running in parallel. We then add two hand-made Air String Geometries featuring pure 6-9s silver conductors in an Air Dialectric. For XLR, we run four Air String geometries for a genuinely balanced XLR cable. We then apply the same High-Frequency Long Duration Conditioning Process originally developed for our state-of-the-art SRX cable loom. The same conditioning process that elevates our Purple Fuses making it the worlds highest performance fuse for audio applications. To lower Excite SXs noise floor and to improve musicality, we add new Carbon Fibre UEF Tuning discs internally at strategic points along the cable shield and inside the connectors for increased resolution without harshness or loss of high-frequency air and extension. Excite SX is also equipped with grounding wires that allow you to connect the shields of the cables to an outboard ground point and are supplied as standard. The ability to separate the cables shields from your components means noise picked up along the shield is bypassed from your systems components to house ground for a lower noise floor and improved holography. And for a lower noise floor still, ground your cables shields to an optional Synergistic Research Ground Block or Active Ground Block. Lastly, we make voicing Excite SX to your system easy with an included Galileo SX Gold UEF tuning bullet. Simply listen to the cable with and without the Galileo SX Gold Tuning Bullet and pick the option that makes music in your system.

Matrix Shielding

The previous Atmosphere X Series Cables started as an experiment to explore ways of improving UEF Shielding by placing UEF Tech at strategic grid points on the shields of Atmosphere cables, now called Matrix Shielding. Matrix Shielding arranges UEF elements on a grid pattern of the cable shield to lower its noise floor. Atmosphere SX refines Matrix Shielding further by using new Carbon Fibre UEF Tuning Discs developed expressly for Atmosphere SX to enhance the loom’s ability to cancel noise that would otherwise cause high frequencies to sound harsh or fatiguing. As a result of our ongoing research into UEF Shielding, we have pushed the resolution envelope when voicing Atmosphere SX by developing new Carbon Fibre UEF Tuning Discs for a more holographic sound with enhanced resolution and musicality.

SRX Long Duration High Voltage Conditioning.

After perfecting the most natural-sounding and holographic cables in our history, we set out to take them further with a new high voltage conditioning process that applies a sweeping frequency plot for an extended duration. We experimented with dozens of frequencies in different combinations over a prolonged time period before landing on just the right mix. We even built a new Tesla Coil to handle the excess heat generated during long conditioning sessions. Once finalized, the SRX conditioning process created holographic realism and timbrel accuracy far beyond our previous Tesla Coil conditioning protocol.

Refine your sound.

Weve completely reformulated and re-voiced our Galileo Tuning Circuits with new technology designed for the new ultra resolution and musical Galileo SX line of cables. Now Gold Bullets impart even greater musicality and liquid smoothness with a touch more air and detail than before. For best results, it is recommended that you first allow your Synergisitic Research cable to settle into your system for 72 to 96 hours without removal or handling and without Gold Bullets attached. Then listen first with no Gold Bullet, and then with Gold bullets and pick the option that makes the best music in your system.
Atmosphere Excite SX provides the Gold SX Tuning module while Atmosphere Euphoria SX comes equipped with both the Gold and Silver SX Tuning Modules.

UEF Ground Plane

Atmosphere Excite SX and Euphoria SX interconnects incorporate the capability to ground your cables to either a wall outlet with the included SR Ground plug or to a Synergistic Research Ground Block (sold separately) to elevate the performance even further. Benefits include a noticeable increase in deep bass power and weight, a more holographic sound field, smoother high frequencies with greater extension and air, a more present and layered mid-range, increased tonal density with an apparent increase in resolution.

Upgrade your XLR

SR XLR

Connectors are not all created equal. After years of research into connector design we chose high purity, high conductivity, low mass Silver as the base material for SR20 RCA and XLR connectors to deliver more refined detail and accurate information. Teflon is used for it’s dielectric properties and the special design gives the greatest area of contact both for wire and plugs insuring that all of your music will get through. These high performance connectors are standard on our Flagship Galileo Interconnects and can be added to Atmosphere as a performance driven upgrade path.
