The Short Fur Softie, Black is made to the same high standards as the Rycote Classic Softie but with a shorter length non-shedding black fur. This smaller profile and darker colour works well with microphones on cameras or at the end of boom poles when reflective surfaces are in the shot. It provides effective slip-on wind protection indoors and outdoors with limited high-frequency loss. The Short Fur Softie is currently available in five sizes to fit several popular microphones.
