Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, the 28-70 mm F2.8 DG DN | Contemporary features an advanced optical design that includes three aspherical elements and two FLD and SLD glass elements. Despite the use of less elements than in the 24-70 mm F2.8 DG DN | Art, Its design allows for in-depth correction of longitudinal chromatic aberrations and sagittal coma, which cannot be corrected by the camera itself, allowing users to create uniformly sharp images from the center to the edges of the frame.
